How to write your review on Tangit!!
The review system is split into two parts. We have the "reviews" and we have the "listings" This helps to keep things seperate but it also enables one "listing" to be created but with many reviews attached to it.
The listing
Please login to continue. If you dont have an account please register it only takes a tick.
Firstly you will need to look for the place you want to review. So do a search under the Reviews menu at the top of the page. If the place exists on Tangit then please skip to "writing a review".
If the listing does not exist, then please write a new "listing"
A "listing" is where you tell us the details of the place you went to.
You will fill in a form that has a few details about the Event, Service, Accommodation, Attraction, Licensed Establishment or Travel.
Please take the time to find out all the correct details and check your spelling.
Points to consider
- Spelling and Grammar - Please check your spelling. If you are a Firefox user then Firefox has a plugin that you can use to spell check as you type. Also when inputting text please use capital letters. This will help to make Tangit more respectable, professional and cleaner.
- Web address - Due to the coding you will need to input the http:// before the website example (http://www.tangit.co.uk)
- Reviews/listings cannot be altered once submitted by the person that created them. This is for legal and quantity of requests. You can however, put a request in to the admin team to have the review or listing altered. I valid reason must be given for the admin team to consider the request. They will then alter the review/lisitng for you. The admin team can be contacted by clicking on the Contact Us link through the menu.
- If your review/listing is rejected you can appeal by contact the appeals manager. The appeals manager will then review you submission and rule if the rejection was legitimate. If your review/listing was unfairly rejected it will be reinstated. The decision of the appeals manager is final.
Writing a Review
This is the most important section on Tangit. Please think hard about your review. Honest and constructive is the best way to write. If people rant then others wont continue to read it. You can be critical but please, be constructive.
So the review.....
If you want to add a review to an existing "listing" please follow the following instructions.
- Go to the Reviews section.
- Search for the place you want to review
- Once found click on add review
- Write your review
Once your review has been completed and submitted it will then go to our team to approve, edit or reject.
We will reject none constructive reviews that just moan or are not objective.
Remember, we aim to provide a positive experience here and even if a place has lots of negative reviews users will understand why.
