Well hello,
Tangit, now there is a random word. It most certainly is as it came to me in a dream and when i looked it up i thought it was appropriate as it means, to touch.
Tangit was born out of the idea that people with impairments and learning difficulties don't have one central place to go and see if something they want to do is suitable for them by reading and contributing reviews. Anyone can have an accessibility issue, they might have children and lots of accessories. They may be elderly or slightly over weight. In the UK legislation is put into place under the Disability Discrimination Act to challenge companies/organisations that are being discriminatory.
What if you go abroad?
This is where Tangit can help. Users of this site will experience hotels, flights, excursions, other trips, restaurants, different travel types and services. Those users can then rate that company/organisation up their accessibility along with service and value for money etc.
People reading those reviews can then make an informed decision whether they want or are able to go/participate.
If we get enough reviews then companies that don't think about accessibility will have to start doing something about it or people will start to expose them for it.
